- All colour files must be in CMYK colour / all black & white files must be in greyscale format
- For best results, create new files in CMYK colour or greyscale as applicable
- Unexpected and undesirable colour shifts can occur when converting from RGB colour
- Colours as they appear on your monitor (RGB) may not be the same as when they are printed (CMYK)
- To achieve a more accurate colour reproduction, use a know colour matching system, such as PANTONE ®. Convert these PANTONE ® colours to CMYK values to avoid undesirable issues when using effects such as drop shadows, glows or transparencies

- In CorelDRAW ® convert all text to curves
- In Adobe ® Photoshop ® flatten image
- Adobe ® Illustrator ® no linked files, convert text to outlines and flatten image
- Resolution
- All files must be at least 350 dpi
- All images (photos) used in these files must be at least 350 dpi
- Create new files at 400 dpi for best results and ensure any images(photos) used are at least 350 dpi
- Images and graphics used in web design will not yield acceptable results as they are generally created and saved at only 72 dpi
